Athena Lovejoy

My name is Athena Lovejoy, and I’m the Care Coordinator at Lucid Therapeutics. As the first point of contact for our clients, I manage scheduling, appointment coordination, billing services, and integration support, always aiming to create a welcoming and supportive experience. I have a genuine passion for helping people and approach every interaction with empathy and care.

I was born and raised in Santa Barbara and graduated from UCSB. I spent over a decade managing one of my family’s deli locations before transitioning into healthcare, and I later earned my Medical Billing and Coding certification, which strengthened my understanding of the medical field and confirmed my desire for a more people-focused role.

Outside of work, my 5yr old daughter is my whole world! We love spending time at the beach, parks, or in the mountains chasing rainbows, and I also cherish quiet moments at home with her and our 3yr old silver Lab. Staying connected with my family and community keeps me grounded and inspires the compassion I bring to my work every day.
